So yeh, recently a random train of thought made me think back to my birthday, and I remembered that Alex hadn't gotten me a present. I mentioned it, and he gave this reason.

Now, I think you can understand why I'm slightly disappointed, because it basically implies that what I gave him was worth absolutely nothing to him. And coming from someone that I often consider to be my best friend, that's a bit of a downer.

Wow...if he'd only realize that when you become a world-famous artist, it'll be worth millions.
